Sandra Bullock is 'not going anywhere'.
No matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I love what I do and I am not going anywhere.
The Oscar winning actress made her first public appearance on Sunday night since the break up of her marriage when she collected the Generation Award at the MTV Movie Awards.
Bullock received a standing ovation when she stepped on the stage to accept her award, quickly sharing a kiss with Scarlett Johansson, before insisting that she is not leaving the movie business behind.
She said on stage: "Sit down, we're on a time limit here people! It's live! Live television!"
"The 'Generation Award' is for old people who have extended their welcome and should make nice and leave so someone new can come in.
"That's not going to happen. I'm staying. No matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I love what I do and I am not going anywhere."
Bullock picked up her first Oscar for Best Actress earlier in the year for her outstanding performance in The Blind Side, which capped off what had been a great year for the star.
The Proposal and The Blind Side have been the two most financially successful movies for the actress with the latter being the first movie in history to pass the $200 million mark with only one top-billed female star.
While she isn't currently filming anything she does have a string of projects in the pipeline including One of the Guys and Jingle.
