Sam Worthington has admitted that he fell into acting.
The Australian was a bricklayer before he ventured into the world of acting, which was buy accident after going to support his then girlfriend at an audition.
In an interview with OK he said: I was a bricklayer, I built houses and fell into acting because of a girl, as most actors do.
"She wanted to go to drama school in Australia, and I went along to do an audition for moral support basically - but I got in. She didn't and she dumped me a week later, so that was the end of that."
But the just falling into acting has worked out quite nicely for Worthington who has two huge movies under his belt already this year.
Worthington led the cast of James Cameron's sci-fi epic Avatar, which has gone on to become the biggest grossing movie of all time.
he can currently be seen in the remake of Clash of the Titans which has enjoyed big box office success in the fortnight that it has been on release.
Topping the box office in America and UK the movie has so far grossed over $230 million worldwide.
And the actor has already completed two new projects, The Debt and Last Night with The Field in post production.
Clash of the Titans is out now.
