Sam Worthington

Sam Worthington has revealed that success has cost him a home life for the past four years - his belongings consist of a collection of favourite books and a bag of clothes.

The star of upcoming blockbusters Avatar and Terminator Salvation and a one-time James Bond wannabe was so determined to score a big break in Hollywood, he sold everything he owned except for the essentials.

He says, "I go where the work is. I’ve got two bags. I’ve got a bag of books and a bag of clothes. I sold everything before I left Australia to start work on Avatar, and, for the last four years, I’ve been going back to back on jobs.

"At the moment, I’m living in a hotel with the books that inspire me and that I’ve read over the years."

He teams up with Christian Bale in the fourth instalment of the Terminator franchise Terminator Salvation, released next month.

Worthington takes on the role of Marcus Wright a resistance soldier who is turns out to be a decommissioned Terminator.

2009 looks set to be a busy year for the thirty two year old with the release of Avatar, Last Night and The Debt.

He is currently filming Clash of the Titans, a remake of the 1981 movie, expected to hit cinemas in 2010.
