Sam Mendes says that he was more nervous at the royal premiere of Skyfall than he was actually making the movie.
The Oscar winner is in the director's chair for the twenty third Bond movie and he was on the red carpet earlier this week as the movie premiered at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
And he admits that seeing how much the film and franchise meant to all the fans that turned up made him more nervous:
Skyfall is the first Bond movie that Mendes has directed and it is also the first film for him since Away We Go back in 2009.
This is the fist Bond movie in four years and Skyfall is already gaining positive reviews from the critics ahead of its release tomorrow.
Daniel Craig reprises the role of 007 in what is his third outing as the super spy while Javier Bardem and Judi Dench are also on the cast list.
