Sam Claflin has been officially joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides actor has been linked to the role of Finnick Odair for much of the summer but it has now been confirmed.
Finnick Odair is the biggest new character in Catching Fire and there were plenty of names linked to the role.
The likes of Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jenna Malone have already been some of the new names that have joined the cast list - the addition of Claflin sees them ready to shoot.
Filming is expected to get underway later this year as Jennifer Lawrence will return to reprise the role of Katniss Everdeen.
But it is all chance in the director's chair as Gary Ross will not be back - replaced by Francis Lawrence.
As for Claflin he has already enjoyed success on the big screen this year as he joined Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart and Charlie Theron in Snow White and the Huntsman.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is released 27th November.
