Salt

Salt has remained at the top of the Australian box office for the second week.

Angelina Jolie returns to action in her latest thriller, which sees her team up with filmmaker Philip Noyce, which took a further $2.5 million to comfortably hold off the competition from Vampire's Suck.

Vampire's Suck is a parody of hit film series Twilight and has opened at number two on the Aussie chart this week. Becca, an anxious, non vampire teen, is torn between two boys.

Before she can choose, Becca must get around her controlling father, who embarrasses Becca by treating her like a child. Meanwhile Becca's friends contend with their own romantic issues - all of which collide at the prom

There was a one place drop for Inception, which continues to do well at the global box office as it has now grossed in excess of $658 million, to this week's number three while The Expendables was also down one at four.

Piranha 3D was the second new entry inside the top five this week as the horror movie, which stars Elisabeth Shue and Ving Rhames, opened at number five.

Step Up 3D fell two places from four to six while Scot Pilgrim vs the World also dropped two to this week's number seven.

The re-release of Avatar, which contains nine minutes of new footage was a third new entry at number eight while a fourth new entry, in the form of Boy, was right behind at number nine.

This week's biggest faller was Ghost Writer, down four places, to round off this week's top ten.
