Salma Hayek has revealed that it was scary being surrounded by the comic talent on the set of Grown Ups.
The actress stars alongside Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider in the comedy movie and struggled with the improvisation at the beginning of the shoot.
Speaking on GMTV the actress said: "The script was very funny but when you get all these comedians [and jokes are] what they do for a living, they can't help themselves.
"It was a little bit scary at the beginning because it wasn't like a little bit of improvisation, they would have one joke in the script and they would do it without cutting like 10, 12 different ways. You didn't even know when it was your turn to speak!"
"I felt a little bit of pressure because you think, 'Am I supposed to be doing that too?'
"So at the beginning it was intimidating but they were so nice that they just made you feel like part of the group. And later we were all improvising and it was really a blast."
Grown Ups is the first film for Hayek since Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant last year, but she has been working on TV series 30 Rock. She will be lending her voice to the character of Kitty in Puss In Boots.
Grown Ups is released 27th August.
