Sally Hawkins has revealed that she would love to tackle an action role.
The actress has enjoyed critical acclaim this year as she took on the part of Rita O'Grady in Made In Dagenham, which told the story of the Dagenham Ford strikes of 1968.
Speaking on the red carpet in Hollywood of Made In Dagenham she said: "Action? That'd be great!
"I don't really get those roles but bring them on, bring on those car chases and have me at the wheel!"
It's been a busy year for the actress who has also starred in Happy Ever Afters and It's A Wonderful Afterlife. She will be back on the big screen in the new year with Never Let Me Go.
The movie, which is an adaptation of the Kazuo Ishiguro novel, sees her star alongside Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield.
She has also completed work on Jane Eyre, in which she takes on the role of Mrs Reed, and Love Birds, which is directed by Paul Murphy.
