Sacha Baron Cohen is in talks to join the all-star cast of Quentin Tarantino's new slavery western Django Unchained.
The British star is slated to play a gambler who buys the wife of Jamie Foxx's vengeful slave character, according to Daily Variety.
If he signs on, he'll also join Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Johnson, Kurt Russell and Kerry Washington in the film, which is scheduled to start shooting early next year (12).
Cohen will be back on the big screen next month as he teams up with filmmaker Martin Scorsese for Hugo.
It will be the funnyman's first movie outing since Bruno as he teams up with Asa Butterfield and Chloe Moretz.
He has completed work on The Dictator and he has lent his voice to Madagascar 3.
