Ryan Gosling has revealed that he wants to taking on a directing project.
The actor teams up with another actor turn filmmaker, in the form of George Clooney, for his new movie The Ides of March.
And Gosling admits that he was keen to see how Clooney worked and juggled both acting and directing work simultaneously.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "I'd like to [direct]. That was one of the reasons I wanted to work with George, was to see how that's done.
"I don't think I could handle it as well as he does. He's pretty incredible to watch. He's like Keanu Reeves in The Matrix.
"Any problem that comes to him, he's just dodging those bullets."
Ides of March is the third movie in quick succession for Gosling after finding both critical and commercial success with Drive and Crazy, Stupid, Love - which saw him tackle comedy for the first time.
The Ides of March is released 28th October.
