Russell Crowe admits that he doesn't want his sons to follow him into acting.
Lord, I hope they don't want to be actors like me.
Crowe has two sons, Charlie and Tennyson, with wife Danielle Spencer and he reveals that he would never push his children into the spotlight.
He told the Sunday Mirror: "Lord, I hope they don't want to be actors like me. But I guess it's only natural if they do. And if it's in their blood when they grow up, then fine.
"I don't want to force them into it, or put them in a situation where they feel they have to do it because they think that's how they are going to get daddy's approval."
And while the Oscar winning actor admits that he doesn't want his boys to follow in his footsteps it appears for Tennyson it may already be too late.
"Tennyson does have that natural flash in his eyes."
Crowe is back on the big screen with his new movie Robin Hood, which was released in the UK last week, as he teams up with filmmaker Ridley Scott for a fifth time.
It's the actor's first movie since State of Play last summer and it opened the Cannes Film Festival last week.
Robin Hood is out now.
