Russell Crowe has reportedly signed up to star in Darren Aronofsky's new movie Noah.
The biblical movie is set to be Aronofsky's first film since the huge Oscar success of Black Swan last year.
Gladiator and The Fountain writers John Logan and Ari Handel rumoured to be penning the script and filming is expected to get under way later this year.
We haven't seen Crowe on the big screen since The Last Three Days, which was released early last year, but he has a couple of very high profile projects on the horizon.
He is currently filming Les Miserables with director Tom Hooper and Hugh Jackman in which he is set to play Inspector Javert.
He will also take on the role of Jor-El when the Superman franchise gets rebooted next year. Man of Steel will see Hanry Cavill take over the role of Clark Kent.
