Rupert Grint wants to play a villain.
The 'Harry Potter' actor - who plays the title character's best friend Ron Weasley in the hit wizarding franchise - hopes his next role will be completely different to the one which made him famous.
He said: "I have always played the good guys so far.
"I'd love to play a baddie and maybe beat some people up - do something different. I'm definitely a character actor."
The 21-year-old actor also hopes to follow in the footsteps of his co-star Daniel Radcliffe - who played the lead role in 'Equus' in both London and New York - and appear in a stage production, but admits he is unsure if he has enough experience.
He explained to Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I would love to do some theatre but I've really only done school plays."
