Rupert Grint has admitted that he doesn't mind being the sidekick in the Harry Potter movies.
The actor shot to fame in the Harry Potter saga in the role of the Ron Weasley, a role that he is reprising later this summer in Half Blood Prince.
In an interview with Time Out Magazine he said: "I've always liked the character of Ron. He was my favourite when I was reading the books. I've always felt a kind of connection to him," he explained.
"I've found certain similarities between us. Just little things, like us both being ginger, and I have a few brothers and sisters as well.
"I thought he was funny in the books as well. So, yeah, it doesn't bother me."
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is the penultimate book in the series but there will be two further movies with Deathly Hallows is to be split.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is released 15th July.
