Rupert Grint ensured Christmas came early for students at a school in Birmingham, England on Tuesday (13Dec11) as he handed out copies of the latest Harry Potter movie during a surprise visit.
The star, who plays Ron Weasley in the hit movie franchise, cast a spell over children at the Bishop Walsh school as he walked into an assembly unannounced after a pupil won an online contest to meet the 23 year old.
Grint, along with his co-star Oliver Phelps, chatted with students before distributing copies of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part Two - but Grint admits he's not yet seen the release.
He said, "I don't think I've ever seen a DVD (of Harry Potter) - I find it very strange watching it back!"
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 brought the popular franchise to a close this summer but it went on to be the biggest grossing movie of the year.
Taking in excess of $1.3 billion to become the third biggest grossing movie of all time - and the first Potter movie to break the $1 billion barrier.
