Rupert Grint admits that he found his new movie Wild Target a refreshing change from Harry Potter.
Grint teams up with fellow Brit actors Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt as an apprentice hitman and he admits that the role is 'very unlike Ron'.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph he said: "The guns appealed to me quite a bit - it was refreshing, and very unlike Ron.
"All the action stuff - the car chase too - was really fun.
But the actor reveals that he didn't have to just learn to use the firearm but he also had to know how to dismantle one.
"I remember really looking forward to it but they are really intimidating. I wasn't prepared for how powerful and loud they are.
"There's a scene where I also had to assemble a gun blind-folded so I had to learn how the gun comes apart and put it together again. That's quite useful, I suppose - if I need to do it again, I could."
But Grint returns to the role of Ron Weasley at the end of the year for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, the second part coming in summer 2011.
