Rupert Grint has revealed that he felt under nor pressure to get into the gym before starting to work on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The actor reprises the role of Ron Wesley in the final instalment in the franchise Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which has been split into two movies.
Speaking on the red carpet at the premiere in London last night the actor said: I've never really been one for the gym. But there's a lot of running.
"I quite like the action. Particularly in part two, it's like a war film."
And the actor also admitted that he enjoyed exploring the darker side to his character Ron in the final movie.
"It was really nice to see a different side of him. The Ron we've seen in the past is happy and quite cheerful and we see a much darker side to him - he's angry and jealous and paranoid and it was really good to see."
The actor has already starred in Wild Target this year and is set to take on the role of Eddie the Eagle, which he should begin filming next year.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is released 19th November.
