Robin Williams has admitted that he is taking his acting career slowly.
The actor underwent heart surgery back in 2009 and he is now taking things a little easier as he believes that he has made too many movies in short spaces of time during his career.
Speaking to The Guardian the said: "In one two-year period I made eight movies. At one point the jokes was there's a movie out without you in it.
"You have this idea that you'd better keep working otherwise people will forget. And that was dangerous.
"And then you realise, no, actually if you take a break people might be more interested in you. Now, after the heart surgery, I'll take it slow."
Williams also admits that sometimes he made movies just to pay the bills: "We'll I've had a lot of people tell me they watched 'Old Dogs' with their kids and had a good time. It paid the bills. Sometimes you have to make a movie to make money.
"You know what you're getting into, totally. You know they're going to make it goofy. And that's ok."
Williams has already lent his voice to Happy Feet 2, taking on the characters of Ramon and Lovelace and has been linked to movie The Prince of Providence.
