Producers of new movie Robin Hood have been criticised for not casting any English actors in the lead roles.
Russell Crowe stars as the Medieval folk hero, while Aussie actress Cate Blanchett will play Maid Marian.
The tale was originally set in Nottingham, England - and now critics have hit out at filmmakers for not featuring any British stars in the main parts.
Terence Doyle, editor of British Film Magazine, says, "These are frankly bizarre casting choices when you consider the depth of acting talent available in the U.K.
"Once again Robin Hood has been hijacked by Hollywood."
'Factory Girl' star Sienna Miller was originally meant to play the female lead but was axed late last year amid rumours she would make the 'Gladiator' star seem old and out-of-shape.
The adventure film had originally been titled 'Nottingham' and Russell was set to play both outlaw Robin and his nemesis, the Sheriff of Nottingham, but the director recently revealed they have overhauled the script completely.
Shooting on the movie, originally titled Nottingham, will begin in Britain in April (09).
