Robert Pattinson has claimed that Eclipse is different to the twilight Saga movies that have come before.
Eclipse is the third movie in the hit series andPattinson returns to the role of Edward Cullen, alongside Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
And while the movies have struggled with the critics in the past they have bee a huge box office success, New Moon grossed over $709 million back in November.
Eclipse is one of the most anticipated movies of this summer and the British actor admits that it's not like the movies we have seen before.
Speaking to MTV News he said: "I've seen a very early cut. It's good. It's different. It's really different... it's kind of serious.
"All the kinds of fight scenes that are in New Moon, they're like real fights [now]. They're not, like, fantasy things. It's like a horror film!"
Pattinson has already enjoyed box office success this year with his movie Remember me and he is currently filming Water For Elephants with Reese Witherspoon.
He has already completed Bel Ami, in which he stars with Uma Thurman,Kristen Scott Thomas and Christina Ricci, and will also return to the role of Cullen for Breaking Dawn.
