Robert Pattinson has revealed that he would love to work on a romantic comedy.
Despite the actor wanting to mix and match his roles and move into more comedy roles he said that he hasn't read a single script in that genre that he liked.
During an interview with GMTV the actor said: "I'd love to, but they're always just rubbish. I mean, like, I'd absolutely love to do it, but I've literally never read a good rom-com script.
"I think it's such a typical career choice for me as well, to be honest," he said. "If you do a big franchise thing, especially for English guys, you try and do a Hugh Grant part or something.
"Which I don't think would be the best idea for me... mainly because it's quite difficult to be Hugh Grant!"
The actor is back on the big screen this week in Remember Me alongside Emilie De Ravin, Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper.
But it won't be long before he is returning to the role of Edward Cullen as Eclipse hits cinema screens later this summer.
Remember Me is released 2nd April.
