Robert Pattinson is contemplating quitting acting after Twilight - because he's unsure if he wants a long stretch in the film industry after the vampire franchise.
The 23 year old has had a rollercoaster ride from relative unknown to global superstar since taking on the role of blood-sucking Edward Cullen.
Now Pattinson is looking into the future, and admits he's thought about giving up acting for good.
Referring to his character, Pattinson tells Seventeen magazine, "I don't even know if I want to be an actor that long.
"I don't even know how to be someone else... if I start doing lame work, I'm not going to stick around and do it!"
The adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's novel Twilight hit cinema screens last autumn and Pattinson became a household name overnight.
He returns to the role of Edward Cullen later this year when the second movie in the Twilight Saga, New Moon, is released.
Eclipse, the third movie in the series, is currently in production.
New Moon is released 20th November.
