Robert Pattinson has described his time filming Water For Elephants as 'magical'
The adaptation of the Sara Gruen novel sees Pattinson work with Oscar winners Christoph Waltz and Reese Witherspoon.
And Pattinson has described the movie as a different experience because it didn't involve studio work.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "It felt like it was kind of magical in many ways, because we were out in the desert shooting.
"There was nothing from the modern world around. It was a different experience for me. It wasn't in a studio or anything."
Pattinson fever is set to sweep the globe once again this year as Water for Elephants is not the only movie that he will star in.
He will return to the role of Edward Cullen this winter for the first part of Breaking Dawn, the second part coming in November 2012.
He has also completed work on Bel Ami and has been linked to Cosmopolis.
Water For Elephants is released 4th May.
