Robert Downey JR. was gutted when he discovered he'd have to move to London to shoot Sherlock Holmes, but he soon grew to love the British capital.
The actor admits he had a miserable time filming his Oscar-nominated performance in Chaplin in the city and wasn't relishing returning to star in Guy Ritchie's new spin on the detective tale.
But Downey Jr. insists Britain was better than he remembered.
He tells Us Weekly, "I filmed there 20 years ago and the food sucked, so I wasn't happy at first.
"But there's something about the work ethic and the people. Everyone had a great attitude."
The Oscar nominated actor has returned to the big screen this week as Arthur Conan Doyle's super sleuth Sherlock Holmes.
