Robert De Niro has revealed that he is inspired by the younger generation of actors.
De Niro has enjoyed a career that has spanned over fifty years and seen him star in some of the most iconic movies of all time.
And despite all of his success and experience there are some younger actors that he a big fan of.
Speaking to The Guardian the Oscar winning actor said: "The actors I respect are Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio... Daniel Day-Lewis is a wonderful actor."
"Jennifer Lawrence is wonderful. She's got a great energy."
De Niro teams up with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper in new movie Silver Linings Playbook - which sees David O. Russell return to the director's chair.
And there is no slowing down for the veteran actor as he has already completed work on Killing Season, The Big Wedding, Motel and Malavita and is currently working on Las Vegas.
