Rihanna has revealed that she would love to tackle a romantic comedy role.
The singer makes her big debut later this year with the Peter Berg directed movie Battleship.
The movie is based on the popular board games and sees her star alongside Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch.
But the action sci-fi movie is not the only genre that wants to work in.
Speaking to The Sun the actress said: "I want to do comedy, maybe a romantic comedy.
"I want to try being more vulnerable, but I want to try different things. I don't want to stick to one type of role."
Rihanna plays a U.S. Navy officer in the movie, that is the first film to be directed by Berg since Hancock.
Battleship is released 11th April
