Richard Jenkins joins Julia Roberts on new movie Eat, Pray, Love.
Jenkins has signed on to star opposite Roberts in the film, based on an international bestselling novel by Elizabeth Gilbert about a woman on a journey of self-discovery after divorcing her husband.
The pair meet at a peaceful Hindu community in India during after Roberts' character embarks on a year-long journey around the world to find enlightenment.
Filming is scheduled to begin in July (09) and will take place in New York, Rome, India and Bali, reports Variety.
This role comes after he was nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award earlier this year for his role in The Visitor, he lost out to Sean Penn.
Roberts has also worked less after starting a family with her cameraman husband Daniel Moder making a return in Duplicity, alongside Clive Owen, having made just two other movies in the last two years.
