Richard Armitage says that there was a real camaraderie between the cast of The Hobbit after they had a boot camp together.
Armitage takes on the role of Thorin in the movie which is directed by Peter Jackson.
Speaking on the red carpet in London earlier in the week Armitage revealed that at boot camp that as well as learning to fight and ride together they also drank together:
The Hobbit is set to be the biggest movie role of Armitage's career to date after really establishing himself in television.
He is just one of the new faces on the cast list as Martin Freeman, James Nesbitt and Aidan Turner are all set to star.
