Renee Zellweger is baffled by reports she's preparing to reprise her role as Bridget Jones - because she knows nothing about plans for another sequel.
Gossip suggests the actress is set to don a fatsuit to play the British singleton for a third time - eight years after the first adaptation of Helen Fielding's best-selling novel.
But 40-year-old Zellweger insists she hasn't been approached about the role.
She tells Usmagazine.com, "I get asked (about) that every single day and I don't know anything."
Zellweger shot to superstardom in 2001 when she took on the role of Bridget Jones for the very first time.
The movie was a financial success grossing over $281 million and a sequel followed in 2004 with Zellweger returning to the role.
It's been a poor year for the actress with MY One And Only and New In Town both doing badly both critically and commercially.
In the pipeline for the Oscar winner includes Case 39 and My OWn Love Song with Forest Whitaker.
