Rachel Weisz says that it was the realistic tone of The Bourne Legacy that she really liked when she read the script.
The actress is back on the big screen this summer as she teams up with Jeremy Renner to continue the successful Bourne franchise.
Speaking to Vogue magazine the actress said: "The tone is very realistic.I'm not playing a superhero, I don't have superpowers. I don't even have a gun.
"That's really what I love about it, that as this type of film goes it's not implausible at all."
"It's about a new military programme, and I am thrown together with Jeremy Renner's character by circumstance, because, well, we need each other.
Renner doesn't take over the role of Jason Bourne instead we are introduced to a new character Aaron Cross while Weisz takes on the role of Marta.
Tony Gilroy is in the director's chair while Edward Norton, Joan Allen and Albert Finney are all also on the cast list.
The Bourne Legacy is released 13th August.
