Prometheus has made it three weeks at the top of the UK box office as it took a further £2 million to comfortably hold off Men In Black III.
The Ridley Scott directed movie has now taken over £19 million in this country alone during it's three weeks on release.
Men In Black III was a none mover at two while Snow White and the Huntsman also stayed put at three.
Musical Rock Of Ages was the highest new entry on the chart this week at number four as Adam Shankman returned to the director's chair.
The movie, which took just over £1 million in it's opening weekend, brings together an all star cast of Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta Jones, Julianne Hough, Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin.
The Pact fell just a single place from last week's number four to round off the top five.
Red Lights, which stars Cillian Murphy and Robert De Niro, was new in a t six while Avengers Assemble fell out of the top five down to number seven.
The Marvel movie has grossed almost £51 million in this UK since it's release earlier this summer.
Fast Girls was the third and final new entry inside the top ten this week at number eight while What To Expect When You're Expecting was down one at nine.
Top Cat was the week's biggest faller as it dropped four places from six to number ten.
