Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' success at the box office has continued as it marched to the number one spot in the UK.
The movie grossed over £11.6 million in it's opening weekend as fans of the franchise flocked to see the return of Captain Jack Sparrow.
It's been four years since a Pirates movie graced the big screen but the latest instalment was the fourth largest opening in the UK.
Fast & Furious remained at number two while last week's number one Thor fell two places to three.
Insidious, which is proving to be one of the most talked about horror movies of the year, stayed put at four.
Attack the Block rounded off the top ten as it dropped two places from last week's number three.
Hanna fell a single place to six while Rio was another non mover at seven. Water for Elephants fell two to eight.
Blitz, which stars Jason Statham, was new at nine while Win Win was also another new entry at ten.
