Pierce Brosnan claims that he doesn't miss the role of James Bond and wouldn't want to return to it.
He took over the role of 007 in 1995 with Golden Eye and went on to star in another three movies, his last being Die Another Day in 2002, before Daniel Craig took over the role.
Speaking to Reveal magazine the actor said: "I enjoyed my time as Bond, but I don't miss him. I don't have any desire to do Bond again.
"I love who I am as an actor right now."
But the actor admits that he possibly wouldn't be able to cope with the big action roles anymore. "I'm aware of my lack of stamina, particularly working with a young cast on 'Remember Me' with Robert Pattinson, the latest heart-throb.
"Things do rattle and shake at times, but that's the challenge of life anyway."
But 2010 has been a very busy and successful year already for Brosnan with no fewer than three movies already under his belt. He teamed up with Robert Pattinson for Remember Me earlier in the year.
He also enjoyed box office success with Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief before working alongside Ewan McGregor and Kim Cattrall on The Ghost, which was directed by Roman Polanski.
He is currently filming Salvation Boulevard with Jennifer Connelly and Marisa Tomei as well as having St. Vincent and Vanilla Gorilla in the pipeline.
