Peter Jackson has revealed that he never had any one else in mind to play Bilbo Baggins than Martin Freeman.
Peter Jackson is back in the director's chair this week as he bring The Hobbit to the big screen.
The movie follows Bilbo Baggins as he sets of on an adventure with a group of Dwarves to battle Smaug the dragon - and Freeman was the only man of the job.
Jackson and members of the cast were in London earlier this week to promote the movie which has already broken box office records in New Zealand.
It is the first time that we have seen Jackson in the director's chair since The Lovely Bones back in 2010 and first trip to Middle Earth since 2003.
The Hobbit has been split into three movies with The Desolation of Smaug and There And Back Again to be released in 2013 and 2014.
