Paul Rudd says that filming on Anchorman: The Legend Continues is expected to get underway early next year.
The actor is set to reprise the role of Brian Fantana in the sequel while Will Ferrell, Steve Carell are all set to return.
Speaking to Access Hollywood the actor said: "We're all coming back - it starts shooting in the spring," he told Access Hollywood. "I'm very excited for it."
"This is why my hair looks like John Taylor from Duran Duran right now. By the time we start shooting Anchorman, hopefully it'll be in a place that will fit the time period."
Adam McKay is also back in the director's chair for the sequel which was a project that looked like would never happen.
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy was released back in 2004 and was a popular hit.
Since then there has been much talk of a second film but there were some stumbling blocks more recently about budget.
But it seems that filming is about to get underway and the movie should be hitting the big screen in the next twelve to eighteen months.
