Robert Pattinson has called Water for Elephants a big movie and believes that it is a stepping stone for his career.
The actor moves away from the twilight Saga to team up with Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.
When asked if this movie is a stepping stone in his career he told MTV: "I think so. It definitely felt like I was doing a big movie when I was doing it and it felt totally different from doing something within the Twilight world because now it just seems so familiar, the Twilight stuff.
"It's just like going to a normal job, doing that."
The actor will also be back as Edward Cullen as Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - which has been split into two movies.
2011 is going to be a busy year for the actor as Bel Ami is also on the horizon and he is set to work on Cosmopolis.
Water For Elephants is released 22nd April.
