Owen Wilson has revealed that he 'froze' when he met Robert De Niro.
The funnyman is back on the big screen with De Niro for Little Fockers, the third film in the franchise.
But Wilson admits that he struggled to get his lines out when he first worked with the Oscar winner.
Speaking to Access Hollywood the actor said: "I have a strong memory of the first time I was in the scene with De Niro.
"I'm taking [the family] to my house, and showing this like great big house I have and I turn to talk about the house.
"I see De Niro's face. It was the whole cast, but I just kind of froze up when I saw De Niro, and Ben [Stiller] started laughing 'cause he could see what was happening."
"None of my lines came out - it was just gibberish. I was like - I had to steel myself for the next takes and [tell myself], ‘You’ve gotta get it together or you’ll get fired!’"
We haven't seen Wilson on the big screen since Night at the Museum 2, but he did lend his voice to Fantastic Mr. Fox and Marmaduke.
He will be back in the new year with How Do You Know and has alread completed work on The Big Year, Hall Pass and Midnight in Paris.
Little Fockers is released 22nd December.
