Orson Welles' Academey Award for his work on movie classic Citizen Kane is heading back to the auction block, four years after it failed to sell.
The movie, which was directed by and starred Welles, landed nine Oscar nominations following its release in 1941, but only claimed gold for Best Original Screenplay.
The actor/filmmaker lost the statuette, but it resurfaced nine years after his 1985 death when it was put up for auction by a cinematographer who claimed to have been given it by Welles as a form of payment.
Welles' daughter, Beatrice, reclaimed the Oscar and fought a legal battle with bosses of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences when she attempted to sell it in 2003.
She won the case and sold it at auction to Dax Foundation charity boss, who tried and failed to shift the trophy again in 2007.
The Academy Award is now set to feature in an upcoming Hollywood memorabilia sale at Los Angeles' Nate D. Sanders auction house.
The Oscar has a reserve price of between $600,000 and $1 million (£375,000 and £625,000) and will go under the hammer on 20 December (11).
