Orlando Bloom has admitted that he like taking on acting roles that terrify him.
It's been a while since we have seen the Lord of the Rings star on the big screen but he is set to return later this year with The Three Musketeers.
And in the movie he is set to take on the baddie as he landed the role of Duke of Buckingham. Logan Lerman, Matthew Mcfadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans will take on the roles of the Musketeers.
Speaking on TV show Lorraine the actor said: "It's really if the script is good and the character is good and the people involved are interesting.
"Anything that terrifies me I'm really up for.
"I just finished The Three Musketeers. That was great, it was a lot of fun. I got to play the Duke of Buckingham and it was so much fun.
"I saw him as a big, overgrown petulant child."
And there is plenty of work in the pipeline for the actor as he is set to play Robert Graves in The Laureate - which is directed by William Nunez.
He will also be reprising the role of Legolas in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit.
The Three Musketeers is released 14th October.
