Olivia Wilde has admitted that she didn't want her character Quorra in new movie Tron: Legacy to be sexy.
The actress is back on the big screen in the Tron sequel, which comes twenty eight years after the original - which was released back in 1982.
Quorra is a warrior in the film and the actress specifically asked director Joseph Kosinski to not make her character sexy.
Speaking to E! News the actress said: "Very early on I called [Kosinski] and said, ‘I know who Quorra is. She's Joan of Arc.'
"We agreed that she was Joan of Arc because she was this unlikely warrior, this child who led an army, who had this very rare combination of strength and innocence."
Wilde explained: "After I discovered the Joan of Arc connection, I asked if she could be kind of androgynous. I kept saying, ‘The Sirens are so sexy!
"You don't need any more really sexy girls! So... maybe she could just look like a boy!'"
The movie sees Jeff Bridges return to the character of Kevin Flynn while Garrett Hedlund takes on the role of his now grown up son Sam.
Tron: Legacy is released 17th December.
