Noomi Rapace admits that she would not return to the role of Lisbeth Salander in the American remake of the popular novels.
The actress starred as Salander in Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which was directed by Niels Arden Oplev, and will reprise the role in The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked A Hornets Nest.
But David Fincher is about to shoot an American version of Girl With A Dragon Tattoo, which is set to star Daniel Craig.
Speaking to Total Film the actress said: "With the remake, I've been very clear on that point from the beginning; it doesn't matter who is going to direct, it doesn't matter who is going to play Mikael Blomkvist, I'm finished."
And while the actress doesn't want to be involved in the movie she believes that Fincher will make a great movie.
"I love Fight Club and I think Seven is an amazing film. I think Fincher is one of the few directors in the world that can do something really good with it - but I'm done with her," she explained.
"I don't have this dream about Hollywood. For me, it's more important to work with people and do projects that I deeply believe in and feel like I really have to do."
And while Rapace will not be starring in the remakes she has already finished work on Beyond and is currently filming Babycall.
