Nikhita Thukral's ban from the film industry over an alleged affair with a co-star has been overturned.
Bosses at the Kannada Film Producers' Association placed the three-year ban on Thukral earlier this month (Sep11) after she was accused of ruining the "domestic harmony of a fellow actor" by becoming romantically involved with married star Darshan.
But after complaints from actors and film industry executives, bosses have decided to reverse the ruling.
Kannada Film Producers' Association president Munirathnam Naidu says, "Looking back it was a hasty
decision. We have written to her expressing regret."
The Saroja actress has vehemently denied the allegations and labelled the movie ban "ridiculous".
