Nicholas Hoult has joined the cast of X-Men: First Class and will take on the role of Beast.
That was a part that belonged to Benjamin Walker but the actor dropped out of the Matthew Vaughn directed project to return to Broadway.
The news comes hot off the heels that Aaron Johnson has been lined up to take on the role of a young Cyclops and Caleb Landry Jones will play Banshee.
The movie, which has been penned by Jane Goldman, looks at the early days of the mutants and the friendship between Magneto and Charles Xavier.
Michael Fassbender is sent to play magneto while James mcAvoy will step into the shoes of Professor X.
2010 has already been a great year for Hoult as he gained critical praise for his role in A Single Man before moving onto the blockbuster movie Clash of the Titans.
He is also set to appear in a fourth Mad Max movie, Mad Max 4: Fury Road with fellow Brit Tom Hardy as well as being linked to a Skins movie project.
