New Moon
New Moon has enjoyed further success as it retained the top spot in Australia.
The movie has held onto the number one position in both the UK and the U.S. as it grossed a further $6 million down under.
There was also no movement at the number two spot as 2012 held off competition from animation Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
But the movie could only manage to make it to number three while The Invention of Lying was another new entry at four.
Starring Ricky Gervais the comedy is set in a world where no one has ever lied, until a writer seizes the opportunity for personal gain.
But it was a two place drop from A Christmas Carol as it fell from three to five. But there were no other new entries inside the top ten.
The Time Traveler's Wife and The Boys Are Back both dropped two places to end the weekend at six and seven but this week's biggest faller was This Is It which rounded off the top ten having dropped four places.
