New Moon
A new and longer trailer for New Moon will be screened later this month at the MTV Video Music Awards.
New Moon is the second film in the Twilight Saga, written by Stephenie Meyer, to be adapted for the big screen.
The movie sees Robert Pattinson and Kristen Swan return as lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan and follows Bella's heartbreak when Edward leaves her. She also develops a close friendship with Jacob Black, played by a returning Taylor Lautner.
Chris Weitz is new to the franchise as he takes over the director's chair from Catherine Hardwicke.
There are also a string of new additions to the cast, including Fanning, Michael Sheen, Christopher Heyerdahl, Charlie Bewley and Jamie Campbell Bower will take on the Volturi vampires, being seen in the franchise for the first time.
Production has already begun on the third film Eclipse, which is expected to be released in the summer of next year.
However due to Weitz's post production commitments to New Moon David Slade has been brought in to direct.
New Moon is released in November.
