Naomi Watts is the perfect choice to play Princess Diana according to her co-star Naveen Andrews.
The actor is set to play Dr Hasnat Khan, the princess' former lover in the movie alongside Watts and filming is set to get underway later this year.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "I don't think anyone else could have done it - there's no one else."
"Whenever you work, usually if something has a chance or the potential to be good it usually starts with a good script and I'm very happy with the script and Naomi is doing it and she's wonderful...
"I'm very much looking forward to shooting."
Oliver Hirschbiegel is in the director's chair for the movie while the script has been penned by Stephen Jeffreys.
But we will be seeing Andrews on the small screen later this summer with a new version of Sinbad.
