Morgan Freeman has revealed that he is proud to have starred in the Batman trilogy.
The Christopher Nolan directed series of movies have come to a close with the release of The Dark Knight Rises, which comes four years after the success of The Dark Knight.
The movie sees Freeman reprise the role of Lucius Fox while Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Gary Oldman are also back.
Speaking to The Press Association the actor said: "I am very pleased and very proud to have been a part of this particular trilogy because I think we've set the bar pretty high.
"This is a very fitting finale and I'm satisfied with the entire trilogy."
The Dark Knight Rises currently sits at the top of the U.S. box office for a second week and has so far grossed over $287 million in the U.S. alone.
And we are going to be seeing plenty of Freeman over the coming year as he has already completed work on the likes of We The People, Now You See Me and Oblivion.
