Moonrise Kingdom
Moonrise Kingdom has walked away from the Gotham Awards with the Best Picture nod - further strengthening the possibility that it may be one of the contenders at the Oscars.
The Wes Anderson movie was met with huge critical acclaim when it was released earlier this year with many believing it should be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
Moonrise Kingdom saw off the challenge from The Master, Bernie, The Loneliest Planet and Middle of Nowhere.
There were also celebrations for Benh Zeitlin as he collected Breakthrough Director for his fantastic movie Beasts of Southern Wild.
The director and the movie itself could feature heavily this awards season as it has won over critics and audiences on the festival circuit.
Emayatzy Corinealdi picked up Breakthrough Actor for his performance in In Middle Of Nowhere as he saw off the competition from Mike Birbiglia, Thure Lindhardt, Melanie Lynskey and Quevenzhane Wallis.
