Mila Kunis admits that she wasn't a big fan of the Friends With benefits script when she first read it.
She is back on the big screen this week as she teams up with Justin Timberlake as two friends who enjoy sex without the complications of a relationship.
And she reveals that director Will Gluck and Timberlake both wanted the same things as her for this movie.
Speaking to Stylist the actress said: "When I got the script, it was very dated, but I knew it made for a funny movie so I took a meeting with [director] Will Gluck.
"Will, Justin and myself went out to dinner and that's when we realised we wanted the same thing for the movie.
"We were able to workshop it, rewrite the script and tailor the characters to what we feel our generation is like now."
It's already been a successful year for the actress after starring in Black Swan at the beginning of 2011.
She has also finished work on The Muppets and Ted and is currently filming Oz: The Great and Powerful.
Friends With Benefits is released 9th September.
