Mike Myers' career is a dream.
Myers cannot believe how his career has turned out, having wanted to be an actor all his life, with the likes of Wayne's World, Austin Powers and Shrek under his belt.
Speaking to Parade he said: "Dude, this is all a dream. I have done everything I wanted to do. When I was 11, I saw SNL and said, 'I want to be on that show'. I didn't even know the name of it then.
"I had this horrible cold recently. I was so sick, I couldn't even move, so I just watched TV on the couch. And there were 12 references to things that I have done."
"Somebody said 'Mojo'. Somebody said, 'Not!' Somebody does, 'Uh, I'm not worthy'. Then Dr Evil and 'One million dollars!'. And I thought, 'How the heck did that happen?'.
"A lot of it was very hard work and being very, very laser-focused. But a lot of it is unbelievable luck. For this, I'm very grateful."
And the actor returns to voice the character to Shrek this summer with the fourth movie in the franchise Shrek Forever After.
Shrek Forever After is released 2nd July.
